JOB SUMMARY
Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and otherwise relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail by performing the following duties | | Duties: | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reads and routes incoming mail. Locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer.
Accountable for creating and providing accurate commission payroll spreadsheet for sales department employees each pay period. From highly confidential source data, tracks sales volume and generates monthly reports.
Composes and types routine correspondence. Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records. Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials. Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.
Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance.
Maintains Family Service Schedule.
Assists managers in reporting month-to-date volume numbers at sales meetings.
Acts as Forethought liaison. Creates and maintains accurate filings of Forethought policies; maintains licensing file.
Assists with coordination and monitoring of promotional activities.
Assists with continuous improvement of marketing and sales practices and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director or Company President.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and database programs, 45-55 wmp.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
